We know that a Coozie is an insulated holder for keeping drinks chilled for a period of time-typically beer, water or soda. Beverage Coozies are generally made of neoprene, Styrofoam or even stainless steel. And for orchid growers, the conventional Coozie has given way to to a new way of potting with Coozies made from cork.

The Coozies are fashioned by sawing cork tubes into desired lengths, drilling holes in the sides and inserting plant hangers and then securing the plant into the Coozie where, ideally, it will produce roots that will graft onto the sides, grow, thrive and put forth beautiful flowers.

The Coozies are resistant to mold and fungal growth.

They are rot resistant and withstand all weather conditions.

They are a 100% sustainable product.

 

 

 

Carefully selected cork tubes are used to create our fun and unusual product and although we are dependent on the harvest of these tubes, we can offer the following types of Coozies as pictured:

Basic Coozie:  4 1/2” to 6” diameter* ($20-25)

Pony Keg Coozie:  7” to 9” diameter* ($30-35)

Kegger Coozies: 10” to 12” + diameter* ($40 and up)
